Join our dynamic and growing team as a Project Manager in Madison, WI, where a regular local presence is essential. In this role, Project Managers work closely with client stakeholders to proactively identify and creatively resolve project challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Fully understand client requirements and project risks, communicate these to relevant team members, and ensure all expectations are met.
Coordinate and facilitate project deliverables by developing a project schedule based on plans, specifications, time, and manpower requirements, and sequencing project elements.
Track progress, review tasks and deliverables, and ensure deadlines are consistently met.
Address project issues and provide solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget while meeting client and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular status meetings with internal stakeholders and client representatives to ensure alignment.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in project management.
Experience managing natural gas/electric distribution projects in urban environments is required.
PMP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment.
