As the Senior Finance Manager, Revenue Data, Analytics, and Insights, you will evolve and modernize our analytics models and tools for our global revenue model. The Day-to-Day
Analyze Revenue performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth
Lead KPI definition and standardization to ensure KPIs are documented, socialized, and consistently applied across functions
Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to advise functional leaders on the best data, KPIs, and capabilities to measure revenue performance
Be a data steward, where you are the expert on existing data, as well as identify and solution data gaps
Develop and maintain real-time dashboards that provide insights into key metrics and KPIs, driving data-informed decisions across the organization
Develop a vision to grow Revenue analytics capabilities within SPS Commerce including data structure, process, and activation
Lead business review cycles, supporting the preparation of analysis and reporting, as well as evolve processes to ensure accuracy of the materials
Modernize and Evolve the company’s analytics toolkit, leveraging AI-powered solutions to enhance FP&A processes, decision-making, and overall finance operational efficiency
Lead data literacy to champion new ways of working, thinking, and capabilities to advance not only finance, but all functions who deliver Revenue.
Lead, motivate, and support a growing team to achieve individual and organizational goals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and accountability
Identify competencies needed for best-in-class data analysis and develop training plans to grow skillsets within the team and for SPS Commerce.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business or IT related field (Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Economics etc.)
10+ years of relevant experience, with at least 4+ years in a formal people management role
6+ years' experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field
Analytical and problem-solving mindset with advanced business acumen
Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
Thought leader with experience utilizing Machine Learning and AI tools
Excellent communication to educate stakeholders on data-driven insights
Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, SQL, and data modeling.
Demonstrated experience building financial and decisional support models and executive dashboards
Demonstrative behaviors around integrity, curiosity, engagement, self-driven initiative, collaboration, and relationship building
Ability to proactively communicate key issues and status updates
Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects while still communicating key issues and status updates while working in a team or independently
Nice to haves
Advanced Certificate or Degree in Business Analytics or Data Science
Experience with Power BI and Anaplan
Work experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or Marketing Analytics
ERP Implementation experience as it relates to master data processes and data transformation
Experience in change management and guiding teams through organizational transitions.
Prior experience with building Data Governance, Data Architecture and Strategy
Retail or SaaS organization work experience
What We Offer:
At SPS Commerce, we are committed to ensuring that each employee's compensation reflects their unique experiences, performance, and skills in their role. The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.
The annual salary range for this role is: $116,500- $186,500. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
Additionally, you may also be eligible to participate in an annual incentive program. An incentive award, if granted, is based on individual and/or organizational performance.
