Parraid is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Cloud/Full-Stack App Developer to help develop cloud infrastructure and cross-platform, cloud-connected applications using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Parraid, a products company, is wholly devoted to design, engineering, sales, and support of telemetry data systems and tactically-oriented, mission-critical communications solutions. Responsibilities:

• Develop robust, scalable, and secure applications and cloud infrastructure using ASP.NET and C#.
• Assist in planning and development to migrate existing C# .NET Windows desktop applications to a cross-platform, cloud-connected solution with web client capability.
• Help with system architecture design to enable this transition while maximizing code reuse.
• Ongoing maintenance and development to improve software capabilities and address customer feedback.
• Participate in peer code reviews to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Execute tasking in accordance with established processes and procedures. Provide recommendations for continuous improvement as appropriate.
• Participate in relevant company and industry events.

Skills:

• 2-5 years’ experience using Docker, Kubernetes, and WASM to deploy and administer cloud-based applications.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core for backend and frontend logic and services.
• Experience using one or more C# frameworks such as Blazor, Uno Platform, Avalonia, and Telerik UI for cross-platform and web application development.
• Experience configuring and using DevOps practices and processes.
• Cloud-based database management for distributed, cooperative systems.
• Experience with cloud security and user authentication for implementing secure, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with version control software such as SVN and Git.
• Ability to derive software requirements from customer needs.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams with clear and effective communication.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently and work remotely.
• Capable of delivering on multiple, competing priorities with little supervision.
• Ability to demonstrate and present products to clients and understand customer needs.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years professional software development experience in relevant position.
• Experience with VoIP, RTP, audio streaming, SIP, and/or H.323.
• Cross-platform / WASM development using Java.
• Mobile app development (Android, iOS).
• C#, .NET, and XAML for desktop applications.
• Full-Stack JS with MEAN or MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React/Angular.js, Node.js).
• Experience with Visual Studio IDE and/or Visual Studio Code.

Education:

• 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer programming, or equivalent information technology training in a military or civilian technical school.
