The Sr. Accountant, Corporate is responsible for the monthly close process including creating and entering journal entries, performing monthly account reconciliations, and loading financial data into Oracle Cloud EPM FCC. This position will also work to standardize and streamline current processes as well as assist with various financial projects.
Required Skills:
Prepare daily and monthly cash activities for month-end close process
Works closely with Treasury, Accounts payable and Accounts receivable teams
Assist with monthly corporate accounting financial close including journal entries, FCC loads and reconciliations.
Prepare assigned monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations in Blackline, emphasis on cash accounts
Liase with international team and support on monthly close process (journal entries, reporting, etc.)
Assist with identification and implementation of process improvements and systems
Assist with preparation of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecasting
Assist in maintaining all internal controls as well as assisting with all external and internal audits
Required Experience:
5+ years of experience in all aspects of accounting, manufacturing preferred
B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with accounting concentration
Knowledge of GAAP accounting and automated accounting systems
Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy
Strong leadership, problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to interact with all levels of employees, management, and outside professionals.
Outstanding communication skills
Excellent computer/systems/PC skills
A proactive, deadline-driven mindset, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
ERP System experience, JDE E1, a plus
FCC experience, a plus
