Position Summary

Senior Directors are responsible for leading projects, analyzing corporate performance, and driving cost reductions, revenue growth, and profitability improvements in their industry or functional area(s) of expertise in ‘high-stakes’ situations in a manner consistent with DWH values and strategies. In addition, the firm expects Senior Directors to participate in firm development activities, business development, and developing intellectual property for the firm. Senior Directors working in AI consulting roles are also responsible for assessing client workflows, identifying opportunities to leverage AI tools to enhance processes (efficiency, accuracy, etc.), selecting appropriate AI tools, scoping and coordinating software development, and implementing or supporting the implementation of these solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand client culture, political environment, and stakeholder agendas. Build and drive the case for change on related workstreams and projects consistent with DWH values, strategies, and practices.
  • Lead major/complex engagements and actively manage their delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources as agreed.
  • Maintain related systems and documentation.
  • Identify additional revenue streams from existing clients and relationships.
  • Innovate through the development of new tools, methodologies, and approaches.
  • Develop deep skills and passion as a specialist in specific industries or service area(s) (e.g., any combination of supply chain, profitability, logistics, procurement, revenue growth, financial services, retail, manufacturing, consumer, process industries, etc.).
  • Maintain quality control of service deliverables (e.g., assessments, reports, implementation, etc.) consistent with DWH values, strategies, and practices.
  • Assess client workflows, identify opportunities to leverage AI tools for process improvement, select appropriate AI solutions, and lead or support their implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Education/Experience: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, engineering, or a related field is required. Ten-plus years of progressive leadership roles including experience leading AI tool development or implementation projects, are required.

  • Computer Skills: Advanced Microsoft Office experience required.

· Ability to pass an extensive background investigation: including but not limited to personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources. Able to clearly articulate the company vision, processes, and protocols to employees, managers, clients, and the business network.
  • Accounting and Analysis: Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial markets, banking, analysis, and reporting of financial data, as well as familiarity with laws and government regulations about accounting and finance. Able to understand, interpret, and present complex financial data, identify business needs, and provide tailored solutions. Capable of operating strategically while addressing the root causes of issues.
  • AI and Process Improvement: Extensive experience developing or implementing AI tools to support business processes. Ability to evaluate workflows, identify efficiency and accuracy improvement opportunities, and implement AI-based solutions effectively.
  • Communication: Ability to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and company personnel. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Training: Skilled in documenting company procedures and policies, training staff and employees on these processes, and holding teams accountable for performance.

Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with ERP
  • Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe, family-owned businesses or manufacturing.

· Master’s degree, CPA, CMA, or CTP.
