GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Coordinates security programs to minimize losses and protect company assets. Identifies and analyzes asset protection risks to effectively develop, recommends, and implements comprehensive security systems and countermeasures designed to eliminate or minimize losses by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)

Inspects premises to determine security needs. Studies physical conditions, observes activities to obtain data regarding internal operations. Analyzes compiled data, plans and supervise installation of electronic security systems such as closed-circuit surveillance, entry controls, burglar alarms, ultrasonic motion detectors, and outdoor perimeter. Prepare purchase orders for repairs, new equipment and remodeling projects. Plans and directs personal security and safety of executive, family, or group for contracted period to ensure client protection during trips and outings. Provides escort to Presidents and Senior Management. Plans and reviews travel itinerary, mode of transportation. Investigate cases in banking transactions committed against clients such as robbery, and others. Prepare detailed reports on robbery cases, report criminal information to authorities and testifies in court trials of offenders, if needed. Provide security training for new and existing employees.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Criminal Justice from four-year college or university and two years’ related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES:

• The following certifications and/or licenses are desirable:

• Certified Professional - Board-Certified in Security Management (CPP) Physical Security Professional, Board-Certified (PSP)

• Professional Certified Investigator, Board-Certified (PCI)

• Certified Protection Officer (CPO)

• • Written Communication: (Spanish and/or English) Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Presents numerical data effectively

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
