The Clinical Neuroscience Lab, in the Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a Research Technician to join our team. The Research Technician will be responsible for coordinating the NIH-funded studies in the Clinical Neuroscience Lab and the Center for Cognitive and Behavioral Brain Imaging (CCBBI).
The Research Technician will assist in the administration of neuropsychological tests and psychosocial questionnaires; perform scoring, data reduction, and interpretation of neuropsychological measures, and neuroimaging data collection at the CCBBI. This position will assist in the general coordination and conduct of research in the Clinical Neuroscience Laboratory. The Research Technician will recruit study participants; maintain participant database and scheduling; maintain and update institutional review board (IRB) protocols; manage schedules of undergraduates in the lab; requisition of new equipment; order materials; perform hardware and software maintenance; and assist with other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Position is available for one year with possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance and availability of funds.
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Qualifications:
Required: one year of relevant experience in research setting, demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines and deliverables consistently.
Desired: experience in neuropsychological assessment and/or neuroimaging data collection.
Target Hiring Range - $15.70-$20.67
