Posting Summary
Provide direct primary care services to UVM students. Participate in other health programs and initiatives for UVM students, including varsity athletes. Provide clinical leadership within the Student Health Services unit and the Center overall. Administratively supervise NPs/PAs. Ensure confidentiality and maintain a commitment to excellence. Support the missions and philosophy of the CHWB, division, and university, and promote multiculturalism and inclusiveness. Serves as the chief clinical officer in the absence of the Medical Director/Chief Clinical Officer.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
MD/DO degree from accredited program and three to five years' clinical experience, to include knowledge of developmental issues of adolescent/young adults, required. Vermont license or eligibility to obtain required. Board eligible/certified in primary care specialty (pediatrics, family or internal medicine) required. Current CPR certification and DEA license required. At least 3 years' experience administratively supervising clinical staff. Experience with electronic health records and general computer skills required. Skilled in working collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams required. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusiveness required.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience working in a college or university health clinic. Experience in primary care medical management of mental health concerns. Experience working with patients with disordered eating. Experience in the provision of gender-affirming care.
Anticipated Pay Range
$150,000-$170,000

External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
