Objectives of this Role:
Support the success of internal inclusion activities and external out events.
Coordinate key requirements in planning and executing on campus celebrations.
Collaborate with other key areas to support various initiatives.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
Work closely with Program Manager to plan, organize, and execute monthly celebrations.
Draft communications for program announcements, celebrations, and special events.
Maintain rosters and administratively support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
Support the annual SwRI-United Way campaign
Stay apprised of best practices and recommended strategies for continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and improvements to the overall program.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelors degree in DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion), Human Resources, Communications or related degree fields.
1-3 years: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of developing and executing engagement or inclusion activities.
1-3 years: Interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably communicate and partner effectively with diverse populations.
Oral and written communication skills needed for creating presentations and drafting communications utilizing Microsoft Office products.
A valid/clear driver's license is required.
