Overview


A Regional Sales Manager is accountable for the recruitment, development and support of Independent Sales Contractors within the Mitchell1 field sales channel. The ideal candidate is an experienced individual with a successful history of selling and/or experience in managing and developing individuals within a sales environment.



Responsibilities




  • Recruit, train, coach and lead a group of Independent Sales Contractors focused on meeting/exceeding assigned territory sales targets and collectively exceed regional sales target..

  • Using a coach approach, work closely and collaborate with Independent Sales Consultants to develop, identify, create and implement sales success plans, strategies, tactics, and processes in order to meet territory and collectively regional sales targets.

  • Proactively and continuously assess, clarify, and validate needs of Independent Sales Contractors on an ongoing basis.

  • Through consistent contact and communication, establish productive and professional business relationships with Independent Sales Consultants throughout assigned region

  • Maintain excellent communication internally and externally and with all Mitchell1 stake holders.

  • Work closely with Mitchell1 support service teams and channel partners to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the selling process.

  • Design, develop, and execute regional incentive plans to maximize sales achievement.

  • Work closely with Sr. Director of Sales Operations. Provide regular updates on status and performance of Independent Sales Contractors within each territory.




Qualifications




  • Computer proficient with knowledge of Microsoft Office products

  • Demonstrated knowledge of all Mitchell1 products

  • Minimum of 1-year B2B Sales Experience

  • Minimum of 1 - year in a sales supervisor or sales manager role

  • Minimum of 6 months employment at Mitchell1

  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to provide information across multiple channels/departments.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to work independently.

  • While this position resides at Mitchell1 Corporate Office, candidate must possess the ability to travel 25% - 50% of the time.

Work environment is fast paced and priorities can shift quickly. All employees are expected to go outside their primary responsibilities when required and multi-task job duties on a regular basis.
