Working within a Global People Team you will work as the expert for US, and Canadian Rewards benefits, a first point of contact for incoming queries, and a technical expert to help guide and coach colleagues. As the Senor Reward Specialist, you will work pro-actively and cross functionally to ensure global alignment in process, and as the North American SME for Reward.
A role you will love
The Reward Specialist is accountable for supporting the day-to-day delivery of high-quality customer service to employees, business managers and wider People function, ensuring that queries are resolved and responded to accurately and with agreed timeframes. You will work closely with the wider People team and employees to ensure all benefit related activity is actioned and reviewed to meet strict deadlines and service delivery levels.
In addition, the role holder will also support the design and development of global benefit offerings and projects designed to deliver a great end user experience, process efficiencies and economies of scale.
Key Responsibilities
Provide advice and guidance to employees and wider People function regarding benefit offerings across the US and Canada.
Advise and support benefit policy and practice, ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance standards are adhered.
Contribute to the development and design of benefit offerings by analysing trends and feedback to inform recommendations and solutions.
Assist in the delivery of global benefit projects, ensuring successful implementation of initiatives.
Drive the education process for employees whereby, they understand the benefits offered to them.
Prepare for the annual enrolment period, ensuring all benefit offerings are renewed, ready for selection, and supported by comprehensive employee guidance.
Provide support and preparation of comprehensive materials for local Committee/Board meetings where required including facilitation of Committee meetings for specified benefits and/or regions.
Stay updated on local, national, and global benefit trends/ legislation to support the development and compliance of benefit offerings.
What will you bring to the role?
Experienced Benefit Specialist with strong literacy and analytical skills
Excellent customer service skills, both written and verbal.
Experience within a benefits context, across US & Canada.
Knowledgeable in US and Canada benefit legislation and compliance requirements such as ERISA, ACA, COBRA and FMLA
Highly numerate and strong skills in working with data
Formal HR or Reward qualification (Desirable)
