Judge Healthcare is seeking Paraeducator's for a local High School in the Aston, PA area ASAP!




Position Details:




Title: Personal Care Assistant / Paraeducator



Location: Aston, PA 19014



Type of engagement: Contract throughout the school year



Hours: M-F 7:30 am to 2:30 pm , with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.



Specific Duties:

• Classroom Assistants are paraeducators who support students with special needs, including Special Education Assistants, and Daily Care Assistants.


• They work with individual or small groups of students to help them implement specific academic, behavioral, and physical accommodations as outlined in their Individualized Education Program.


• Documenting students' needs, strengths, gains, and problem areas, as directed by the teacher(s). Must maintain the confidentiality of student records and information. Classroom Assistants also consult with teachers to implement goals and monitor progress.


• In some cases, Classroom Assistants may provide direct student assistance with monitoring medical conditions, physical needs, personal care, feeding, and toileting. Daily Care.
  
  

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent


• Must have experience with children, students, or general caregiving of any age.


• Preferred: experience with Autistic Support, Special Education, or Behavioral Health/Mental Health


• First Aid Certificate including CPR (just needs to obtain before start date)
