Position Title: Business Analyst- COSMOS



Work Location: Remote



Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm CST



Duration: 6+ monthContract



Preferred Skills/Attributes:

• Experience in the healthcare industry


• Experience with claim management


• Knowledge of claim adjudication platforms


• Understanding of the COSMOS system for facility contracts and rates


• Familiarity with COSMOS pricing/rate logic and ability to explain details


• Strong knowledge of Medicare Contracts and contracting methodologies

Responsibilities:

• Seek feedback and identify process improvement opportunities


• Develop a deep understanding of customer and product needs


• Analyze and collaborate on product solutions


• Incorporate customer feedback into future features/user stories


• Support product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities


• Develop visual models to represent current and future needs


• Navigate and lead through a complex matrix organization


• Create user personas and translate requirements into functional specifications


• Manage product requirements throughout the lifecycle


• Partner with Product Owner/Manager and stakeholders


• Document ATDD acceptance criteria


• Develop and execute product analysis plans


• Participate in agile ceremonies and support business agility


• Assess risks and advocate for agile frameworks


• Partner with UX for design validation


• Perform user acceptance testing/QA


• Leverage data for insights and decision-making


• Support operational readiness activities


• Review work for quality improvement


• Develop and deliver presentations


• Monitor progress against KPIs, OKRs, and performance SLAs


• Support financial and market competitive analysis


• Stay current on industry practices and trends


• Participate in Centers of Excellence and organizational growth activities


• Support United Culture and change acceptance


• Serve as a leader/mentor and manage team conflict


• Travel as needed for product initiatives

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred with 2+ years of BA/PA experience. Without a degree, 4+ years of experience required.

Skills Needed:

• Experience with customer base/consumer experience


• Strong belief in cultural values of compassion, integrity, relationships, innovation, and performance


• Excellent communication, collaboration, time/project management, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills


• Logical, efficient, and detail-oriented


• Highly self-motivated and self-directed


• 2+ years of experience on an Agile Team


• 2-4 years of practical experience in core Product Analysis tasks
