We are looking for a Business Support Lead to join our Team.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the technical support team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Develop and implement hardware and software standards to ensure consistency and reliability across the organization.
  • Maintain the standardization of company's assets (including hardware and software) with the intent of shadow IT prevention.
  • Streamline support processes to improve efficiency and user satisfaction, utilizing best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Oversee the resolution of technical issues, ensuring timely and effective support for end users.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated support issues, working closely with end users to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Work with other IT departments to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software solutions.
  • Serve as an overall subject matter expert for various business systems, hardware and software used by end users.
  • Represent the enterprise support team during business technology project planning and implementation.
  • Ensure that technology needs are accounted for in business technology project planning.
  • Raise potential resource constraints and concerns regarding project planning to IT Management.
  • Develop support processes for various business systems (including but not limited to: Vocollect, Warehouse Devices, Driver Phones, Sales and Merchandiser iPads, printers, etc.).
  • Act as a liaison between the business and technology team to identify and improve systems, processes supporting various departments.
  • Perform detailed end-to-end business process analysis and document core system processes and related applications.
  • Escalate issues and coordinate with vendors when appropriate.
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce meaningful reports.
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual projections and status reports as requested (including but not limited to: support metrics, trends and insights, areas for improvement, success stories, resource and/or production gaps, etc.)
  • Manage vendor relationships for hardware and software used by the business.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Five or more years' experience in business systems application analysis, application support or project management, preferably in beverage distribution or similar industry
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Team oriented with good interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Takes ownership of the duties and responsibilities associated with the role; and has a desire to grow within the team and company.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and decision making in difficult situations

Physical Requirements

  • Physical demands with activity or condition for an occasional to rare amount of time include sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine
  • Physical demands with activity or condition may include a considerable amount of time include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping
  • May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 25 lbs.
