Job Summary:
Oakwood Gardens Care Center, a premier skilled nursing facility in Fresno, CA, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our exceptional team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing quality care to our residents, fostering a safe and supportive environment, and ensuring the highest standard of living for those in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and proper technique.
Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Report changes in residents' physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
Support residents in maintaining their dignity and independence.
Help with meal service, including serving, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents.
Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policies.
Participate in training and continuing education to stay up-to-date on best practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR and First Aid certification (preferred but not required).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to caregiving.
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
