Job Title: Deputy Director, Business Analytics- Vaccines

About the Job
The Deputy Director, Business Analytics will own and lead forecasting and demand management for the VaxServe business unit. This role will be responsible for the annual Target Setting across the broad Sanofi and non-Sanofi portfolio. This role will also lead all short-term forecasting efforts, including monthly, quarterly, annual and budget forecasts. This individual will be responsible for coordinating closely with marketing and sales to develop firm business insights and assumptions that drive the forecast. This individual will be responsible for gaining alignment on the business unit forecasts from all key stakeholders, including senior leadership. In addition, this role will be responsible for translating business forecasts into real-time demand for inventory forecasts, in coordination with Supply Chain. This individual will also lead Incentive Compensation and Quotas for the sales force, utilizing the expertise from the forecast. In addition, this role will lead analysis and reporting needs of Pricing and Contracting team. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy. This position requires strong analytical skills and financial acumen.
This position is based in Moosic, PA and will report to the Senior Director, Business Insights and Analytics.

Main Responsibilities
Lead and develop annual Target Setting by analyzing trends, performance, anticipating demand and strong knowledge of business through collaboration with marketing and sales
Monitor forecasts and trends and share relevant insights to key stakeholders
Lead and develop all forecasting efforts, including monthly, quarterly and budget
Demonstrate deep knowledge of VaxServe's business units as well as total vaccine market to develop business insights and assumptions that drive the forecast and performance
Translate forecasts into short-and-long term demand to develop accurate inventory forecasts through collaboration with Supply Chain
Develop Incentive Compensation plans and quotas for Retail and General Markets sales teams that align with VaxServe forecasts and help to drive performance
Perform analyses and data queries for Pricing and Contracting team to measure and track contract performance and provide insights and recommendations on pricing and contract strategy and decisions.
About You
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline with 5+ years relevant forecasting, financial planning, or a similar analytical experience preferred
Strong ability to analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and generate actionable insights
In-depth understanding of forecasting methods such as time-series analysis, regression models, and scenario planning
Strategic thinker with demonstrated formal presentation development and delivery skills required
Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and effectively influence, collaborate, and communicate with internal partners
Detail-oriented self-starter capable of owning initiatives from beginning to end
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
High level of personal and professional integrity with strong work ethic
Strong financial acumen

This role owns VaxServe's forecasting and demand management from beginning to end, allowing for in-depth market knowledge across all manufacturers. This position is intimately integrated across multiple departments, including analytics, marketing, sales, finance and supply chain. This role has unique visibility and access to senior leadership to gain alignment on performance and future projections of the business unit.

Location information
This role is based in Moosic, PA (VaxServe Headquarters) and follows the organization's flexibly work policy, allowing up to three days of remote work per week, with a minimum of two days required in the office.
This role is US based and requires minimal travel (< 10%)
