The Data Visualization and Data Governance Team helps in leading and enabling data visualization and building trust and transparency with the data assets of Ohio State. The Data Visualization team is responsible for administration of data visualization platforms used to develop and publish reports and dashboards for audiences across the university. The team provides expert training and consultation on data visualization and analysis best practices.The Data Governance team administers the data governance program which is the framework of processes and tools to manage the quality, integrity and usability of institutional data. It includes the data domain structure and data stewardship roles and responsibilities as well as an effort to develop institutional definitions for key terms and metrics and implementing a data catalog tool for the university. We are looking for someone who is eager learn about data visualization and data catalog technologies to help build support the data community at Ohio State.

The Targeted Hiring Rate for this position is $17/hour
