Job Title:Physician - Neurological Surgery, Spine Oncology (Fellow)Department:Medicine | Neurological Surgery

Serves as a fellow in the Neurological Surgery Department; provides training of residents, medical students, undergraduate & graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals in the Spine Oncology specialty area; participates in quality assessment and improvement activities; ensures continuing medical education requirements are met; participates in conferences and programs; conducts research projects; produces abstracts and/or publications.




Detailed Description of Duties


65%: Serves as fellow and provides direct patient care in the Spine Oncology area


30%: Provides training of residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate & graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals in the specialty area; participates in quality assessment and improvement activities.


5%: Conducts research projects; produces abstracts and/or publications.



M.D. or D.O. required (foreign equivalent acceptable); successful completion of Neurosurgery residency training program. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen and background check.
