Bestica is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to work at locations within the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in Palo Alto, Menlo Park and Livermore, CA.

SCOPE:

Employees will provide services necessary to perform onsite in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and community living centers to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs, the range of nursing assistant care as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of the quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by a state, territory, or commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the US or in the District of Colombia.

FULL TIME: Multiple Shifts to include: 0700 AM-0330 PM; 0730AM-4000PM; 0800AM-0430PM; 1030AM-0700PM; 1130AM-0800PM; 1230PM-900PM; 0330PM-1200AM.

• All CNAs will have completed an accredited training course
• current license as a certified nursing assistant in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property. All licenses held by the key personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses
• 2 (two) years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant within the last 3 years.
• Certified nursing assistants shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government’s requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently
• Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by American Heart Association
