Job Summary:
This role works effectively with healthcare operations and clinical areas to support data-driven decisions by developing analytics that provide accurate, insightful, and actionable data. Promotes improvement initiatives and strategic priorities by creating data assets and products aligned with business plans and organizational goals. The focus of this role is analytic support for Ambulatory Access initiatives and our network's Enterprise Patient Engagement Center, which is a virtual team dedicated to increasing access and improving patient experience by optimizing areas including patient scheduling, ambulatory patient engagement, and customer service.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:
A minimum of 1 year of directly related experience with projects that include analysis, data modeling principles, basic to intermediate SQL programming, dashboard/report design with visualizations, and development of business/customer and technical specifications.
Basic to Intermediate experience with Business Intelligence tool(s).
Preferred e
xperience with Ambulatory scheduling and supply/demand measures (Epic Cadence) and telephony data (Cisco).
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Care Administration, Engineering or related field, or appropriate experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Basic structured query language (SQL) skills including data acquisition, filtering/sorting, simple joins, aggregation, and grouping.
Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies and techniques.
Working knowledge of healthcare operations, data sets, measurement methods, terminology, and business trends across a broad scope or targeted healthcare area, such as lab or radiology, preferred.
