Facility: Kennestone Hospital



Job Summary:



This position will be responsible for the conceptualization and creation of visual solutions for signage and wayfinding across the site within the framework of system marketing guidelines.
This position will collaborate with hospital staff and outside vendors to ensure the site is aligned with furniture and design standards.
This position will coordinate furniture solutions, signage, and wayfinding for the facility.




Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:



Collaborate with staff and outside vendors to develop and maintain consistent signage and design standards to improve patient, visitor, and staff experience
Choose suitable materials for hospital environments, review products for functionality and cost efficiency, create and revise designs, and implement solutions
Develop wayfinding standards aligned with corporate marketing requirements
Create and implement effective wayfinding standards
Ensure design consistency for construction, remodel, and refresh projects
Understand project and design requirements
Sketch initial design ideas
Utilize technology, including computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed design drawings
Remain updated with latest design trends and advancements in technology for that segment
Review and evaluate design feasibility
Manage multiple, concurrent projects while ensuring timely delivery of quality results
Ensure compliance with infection prevention requirements related to signage, wayfinding, and furniture projects
Manage furniture and personnel moves throughout the campus.
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.




Required Minimum Education:

• Bachelors Design "or related degree"

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):



All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

Additional License(s) and Certification(s):



Industry-specific certifications that demonstrate a high level of expertise and continuing education related to design Preferred




Required Minimum Experience:



Experience with 3D modeling and printing Preferred
Practical experience managing/coordinating hands-on wayfinding, signage, or design projects in a design role or internship Preferred




Required Minimum Skills:



Advanced proficiency in design software like Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks High Apply Now
