Facility: Wellstar MCG Health




Position Summary: The Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast and bone density exams and procedures on patients of all ages to provide physicians with data for diagnostic purposes. The Mammography Technologist works under the direction of a Radiologist and/or Manager.


Position Requirements:Vocational or technical training or degree: Accredited Radiography Program and 2 years or more of experience in Diagnostic Radiography/X-Ray. Ability to operate Radiographic equipment. Ability to communicate verbally and written. Possess excellent patient/customer service skills.



Certification(s): required: ARRT(R) and Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).



Preferred
Requirements: 1 years or more of experience in Breast Imaging. Operate Breast Imaging Unit. Knowledge of Mammography positioning techniques. ARRT (R)(M).
