We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:


  • Join UW Health's Comprehensive Stroke Program to provide clinical leadership for the UW Health Telestroke Program.
  • Coordinate activities of the Telestroke Program to optimize clinical workflows, track clinical quality metrics, lead quality improvement initiatives, and develop action plans that are effectively communicated to program leaders.
  • Develop and maintain program education materials as well as coordination and participation in stroke community education, EMS education and outreach programs.
  • Serve as a clinical resource in the development and implementation of goals and strategies to support the continued growth and success of the Telestroke Program throughout Wisconsin and beyond.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management, Public Health, or related field Preferred

Work Experience


  • 3 years of work experience in a health care setting Required
  • Experience leading programs and/or projects with teams Required
  • Experience in neuroscience program development Preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical programs Preferred
  • Experience in neuroscience or stroke nursing Preferred

Licenses & Certifications


  • Licensed as an RN in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
  • SCRN Preferred
  • CNRN Preferred
