Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is an international meat processing company and the are currently seeking a Production Manager for their facility located just outside of Anderson SC. This leading meat processing facility dedicated to excellence in food safety, quality, and innovation. Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our meat processing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.



Responsibilities:





• 
  Manage Production Operations: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the meat processing operations to ensure efficient workflow and production targets are met.
  
  


• 
  Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet stringent quality and safety standards. Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
  
  


• 
  Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor production staff. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  
  


• 
  Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  
  


• 
  Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including OSHA and USDA standards.
  
  


• 
  Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure the timely supply of materials.
  
  


• 
  Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including KPIs, to senior management.
  
  



Qualifications:





• 
  Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  
  


• 
  Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the meat processing industry.
  
  


• 
  Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in production management software.
  
  


• 
  Knowledge: In-depth understanding of meat processing operations, quality control standards, and safety regulations.
