Specific Job Summary
Responsible for the implementation and execution of all Marketing and Sales core process functions for Hyatt Vacation Ownership.
Lead the focus, alignment and coordination of all Marketing and Sales processes, emphasizing role of support processes throughout Marketing and Sales, and achievement of balanced scorecard objectives.
Ensure that all site operations (both customer acquisition and customer experience) are strategy driven and achieving strategic objectives, working closely with appropriate sub-process owners.
Coordinate the relationships between Marketing and Corporate support functions.
Create performance metric system, aligning with enterprise-wide balanced scorecard, to ensure associates and guest experiences are high-value.
Work with Business Line Owners to ensure continuous improvement and integration of processes that drive business line success.
Responsible for the management of the HVO Sales Development Start-up processes and operations.
Direct the HVO Sales Operations group in achieving world class execution of sales processes.
Lead the Marketing and Sales teams and by achievement of sales and cost targets, drive operational profit to the organization.
Generate new customer communication and survey processes.
Coordinate with Human Resources on creating and sustaining a high-performance culture, developing associate development and talent management programs, and building upon current reward and recognition programs that allow associates to share in the company's success.
The position will be based at MVW's headquarters in Orlando, Florida with travel as necessary within the US and abroad to meet assigned goals.

Develop the HVO Marketing and Sales strategy and communicate plans to market organization.
Set the direction with leadership team of the brand definition for the portfolio of resorts.
Ensure consistency and effectiveness in the marketing and sales processes across all HVO locations and regions.
Partner with other Corporate support functions on Product development issues.
Oversee the development, implementation, and follow-up of new initiatives, which drive the company's goals.
Lead all Marketing and Sales Operations planning and procedures for market implementation.
Work with Brand Team to enhance the HVO / HRC brand.
Manage coordination of all sales start-up processes with Development, Market and other Core processes and Business services including the evaluation of new markets and resorts.
Monitor and evaluate sales processes while maintaining awareness of daily sales progress against budget and the efficiency of programs.
Lead the development and review copy of all direct marketing campaigns.
Ensure world class execution of marketing and sales core processes in market.
As a key member of the HVO Leadership team, responsible along with other key leaders to develop and produce world class annual meetings for leadership teams and top performers that drive company objectives and reward our key associates.
Partner with the Mortgage Bank to drive financing propensity and Mortgage bank profits on an annual basis.
Responsible to lead the recruitment and retention of Sales and Marketing management and staff.
Ensure the appropriate technology is being developed to assist and support continued advancement of HVO recruiting strategies and tactics.
Oversee the design and implementation of advanced marketing and sales training courses.
In coordination with HR, continue the development and enhancement of world class selection tools for front-line Marketing and Sales Executives and our Marketing and Sales leadership positions.
Enhance associate satisfaction and Brand culture through effective communication, recognition, motivation, performance management, and empowerment.
Lead the development of future leaders for the HVO Marketing and Sales group.
Develop future leadership through effective mentoring and coaching/counseling.

Generally, a senior position requiring significant knowledge and experience in one or more disciplines and/or business operations as well as associate and organizational management experience. College degree required. Advance degree or professional certification is typically required.

Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
Experience
Extensive experience within HVO, MVW or the Timeshare industry required.
Seven to ten years proven Sales or Marketing management experience within the Timeshare industry, or equivalent direct sales environment.
Minimum five to seven years as a Project Director.
