Who are we looking for?

MacDermid Alpha Electronic Solutions is looking for a Regional Reclaim Manager to help manage and increase the volume and margin of reclaimed material within a specific geographical region. This role would focus on sourcing reclaimed materials from assembly accounts and metal brokers, which could involve activities such as negotiating purchasing agreements, managing relationships, and identifying opportunities for growth

What will you be doing?

  • Focus on developing tailored plans for high-value and target accounts, ensuring that specific goals for each account are achieved.
  • Provide support on logistics and manifest requirements to ensure smooth reclaim material flow.
  • Implement corporate pricing policies and communicate these guidelines clearly to suppliers and channel partners, ensuring consistency in pricing across the region.
  • Regularly assess progress against the territory's business plan and collaborate with your supervisor to make necessary adjustments based on performance and market dynamics.
  • Track and report expenses monthly, ensuring that all expenses remain within budgetary guidelines.
  • Keep accurate data on market share in the territory and analyze competitors' activities to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Communicate and distribute sales leads, whether from the internet, trade shows, or publications, to the appropriate sales teams or individuals in the Atlas system.
  • Ensure that key reclaim accounts are on track to meet targets.
  • Assist the Reclaim Department with settlement terms and other relevant details to ensure smooth operational execution.
  • Maintain regular communication with Reclaim Coordinators and the Reclaim Business Manager to stay aligned on key activities and performance.
  • Work to maintain and expand any existing business within the Atlas Stage 7 program.

Who are You?

  • Education & Industry Experience:

    • Four-year Degree: A Management or Technical Degree (such as in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field) is required.
      • Alternatively, equivalent industry experience in the materials, electronics, or related fields can substitute for formal education.
      • Proven track record in sales or account management within the electronic assembly industry, particularly in materials or services sales, will also be highly valued.
  • Mathematical & Analytical Skills:

    • The incumbent must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as:
      • Discounts
      • Interest
      • Commissions
      • Proportions
      • Percentages
    • Strong numerical skills are critical for managing pricing, margins, forecasts, and territory financials, as well as for analyzing and optimizing reclaim material costs.
  • License and Travel Requirements:

    • Valid Driver's License: A current driver's license is required, as this position will involve significant travel within the territory to meet with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
    • Travel: Must live within reasonable driving distance of a major airport within the territory and be able to travel up to 75% of your working time.

  • Customer service experience
