About the role:
As a Product Owner for TQL, you serve as the voice of the customer to guide development teams in building software capabilities with the highest business and customer impact. You represent the needs and priorities of the business, prioritize and manage the product backlog, and guide continuous product improvements through feedback from stakeholders.

What you will be doing:
Act as the voice of the customer to guide all stages of software development to deliver maximum value to the organization.
Set expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features and functionalities
Guide the team through ERP migration of specific Finance & Accounting programs, understand and address dependencies through collaboration and prioritization with other F&A teams, and support cross-team testing efforts
Work with business, product, and technical stakeholders to understand business opportunities and end-user needs. Break down epics to identify and prioritize features and identify internal and external dependencies.
Build, prioritize, refine, and maintain the backlog
Work with business and technical stakeholders to develop and document user stories
Lead refinement, sprint planning, and sprint review ceremonies and other stakeholder meetings to uphold transparency, set sprint goals, get user feedback, and ensure collaboration across stakeholders
Participate in other agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and team retrospectives to be available to the team, answer questions, and work toward continuous improvement.
Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, story refinements and team retrospectives to ensure the team has a clear understanding of priorities and next steps
Work with the development team to create acceptance criteria and definitions of failures and done
Assist the team on the development of feature tests, test cases and regression tests
Implement best practices for tracking and reporting product impact and product health metrics to understand the value being delivered, usability, and availability of the product.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Knowledge of Information Technology required
Experience with ERP and Finance & Accounting systems desired. Experience with ERP migrations a plus
At least 3 years of experience in a Product Owner role preferred
Product Owner certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner Certification) a plus
Ability to understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs
Advanced knowledge of agile development methodologies
Strong influence, facilitation and collaboration skills with ability to effectively communicate with a variety of disciplines and diverse groups of people
Exceptional work ethic, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
