RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Associate in Elm Grove, WI.

Responsibilities

• Tax Planning/Accounting: Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and small businesses; Stay informed on tax laws to deliver precise tax planning, withholding estimates, and bookkeeping services as we expand; Handle IRS notices and perform general accounting duties


• Consulting: Provide expert tax advice to help clients make informed decisions that improve their financial well-being and meet their objectives


• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication-via meetings, calls, and emails-while offering timely financial advice


• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to share insights, resolve complex tax issues, and foster a collaborative and supportive environment


• Continuing Education: Keep up to date on industry trends, accounting standards, and tax regulations through ongoing professional development, seminars, and certifications


• Other Opportunities: Explore additional roles within the financial industry as they arise

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Associate degree with a tax focus


• CPA, CPA Candidate, or EA status is a plus and will accelerate your growth within the firm


• Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to manage multiple clients and tasks


• Proficiency or willingness to learn tax software (QuickBooks, Lacerte, Holistiplan, etc.)

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
