Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client in the Baltimore, MD area is looking to add a Controller to their team. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company where you'll touch all aspects of the organization's Finance & Accounting.

Key Tasks:

• Controller will manage all financial operations of the company including budgeting, forecasting, audit, and internal control systems


• Direct and oversee all aspects of the finance functions of the organization including responsibility for the company's general ledger


• Perform monthly close tasks and report as necessary to owners and outside accountants


• Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives


• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends, and forecasts


• Collect and analyze corporate financial data to provide management with internal reports needed


• As a Controller, you will reconcile all bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis


• Look for ways to implement financial processes and procedures to increase the financial health of the organization


• Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting


• 5-10 years accounting experience


• Previous supervisory experience


• Manufacturing/cost accounting background preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
