Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A client in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Application Developer. The role involves supporting, maintaining, and improving database-driven web applications that utilize a combination of technologies such as MS SQL, custom workflow engines, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and C#.

Responsibilities:

• Web Application Development & Maintenance: Develop, test, maintain, and upgrade web applications; Modify applications using SQL, custom workflow engines, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, C#, and .NET


• Database Design & Optimization: Design and enhance relational databases, leveraging proficiency in T-SQL; Create and manage stored procedures, views, user-defined functions, triggers, and tables


• API Development & Support: Develop and support service-oriented APIs


• Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot issues and research to resolve bugs and application failures


• Adherence to Development Processes: Follow SDLC guidelines and utilize tools such as JIRA and Bitbucket for version control and project tracking; Use creative problem-solving techniques to approach development tasks and challenges

REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of experience in web development, including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, C#, and .NET (preferred)


• 3-5 years of experience with Azure development is a plus


• 3+ years of experience in MS SQL Server development, including expertise in query optimization


• 3+ years of experience with T-SQL and stored procedure development


• 1+ years of experience with SSRS or Power BI (or similar reporting tools)


• Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
