Be part of an operation that focuses on the sustainment and modernization of tactical aircraft, ensuring they remain ready and capable. This facility is a cornerstone of aerospace maintenance and support, providing essential services to enhance military aircraft's operational life and capabilities.
Perform troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance on electro-mechanical and pneumatic systems and components.
Ensure the functionality and condition of electrical systems, hydraulic-pneumatic systems, propulsion, landing gear, flight control surfaces, aircraft furnishings, and crew escape systems.
Remove panels and associated hardware to access equipment requiring maintenance.
Perform periodic inspections and ensure compliance with maintenance standards.
Qualifications:
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of F-16 or other legacy fighter heavy maintenance experience.
4-6 years of flight line experience on military fighter aircraft or in solid depot maintenance environments.
Clearance Requirements:
Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Additional Requirements:
Must have prior mechanic experience (e.g., Crew Chiefs, Plane Captains).
Strong background in fighter aircraft maintenance or other heavy aviation-related maintenance.
Availability to work first or second shift.
