Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, digital communications or related field; five to ten years of experience providing support in eGoverment Services; three years of experience managing and developing technical staff; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. 
  • Proven leadership experience in managing digital platforms.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to cross-functional teamwork.
  • Expertise with compliance, accessibility, and privacy standards related to digital platforms.
  • Proficiency in modern tools and platforms, including content management systems, digital asset management systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience in implementing enterprise-wide solutions for digital notifications, user experience, and search engine optimization.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics and data-driven decision-making.

 Leadership and Management

  • A minimum of three years in a supervisor role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills:
    1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    2. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with team members, vendors and stakeholders.

Pre-employment drug testing, FBI criminal background check and education/degree verification required. This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice’s “Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy” and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent criminal background check. Must be a US citizen or have been a lawful resident of the US for the past ten consecutive years.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an innovative manager with hands-on experience to lead a small team of analysts and architects who support enterprise solutions built to enhance the online experience of our residents, businesses, and county departments.  Through the application of core digital competencies within the team, including areas such as process automation, content strategy, analytics, and user experience, this role will drive organizational growth by cultivating talent, enhancing skill development, and promoting innovation. This is a pivotal role requiring leadership, vision, and a passion for public service and engagement, with a strong desire to make a difference in the community. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of digital solutions that improve online service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and manage resources, training, and project timelines to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet customer expectations.
  • Oversee the growth and application of core digital competencies within the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation by mentoring team members and providing opportunities for professional growth.
  • Ensure digital platforms comply with accessibility standards, privacy regulations, and user-centered design principles.
  • Champion the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies to drive impactful results.
  • Analyze customer feedback and platform analytics to inform continuous improvements in usability, functionality, and engagement.
  • Perform other work as required.
