The Digital Marketing Specialist will be assisting with a variety of digital marketing initiatives and projects. This role requires an understanding of HTML, SEO, SEM, workflow management, and conducting digital marketing audits for both paid and organic efforts.
Responsibilities:
SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Identify partner sites with SEO opportunities to improve organic search rankings.
Content Optimization: Optimize website content, meta tags, headings, and URL structures to improve search visibility.
Campaign Optimization: Work directly with the the Director of Digital Marketing and the trusted agencies. Utilize data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities, measure campaign effectiveness, and optimize marketing performance. Implement A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to continuously improve conversion rates/ROI
Budgeting and Tracking: Maintain our clients' performance marketing dashboard, meticulously track pacing to goals and budget, actioning in real time to respond to business needs
Customer Acquisition: Refine each partners customer acquisition strategy to scale the platform by maximizing marketing productivity through hypothesis-drive testing across audience, channel, and messaging.
Content Calendar: Develop and maintain an organic content calendar to ensure consistent production and distribution across all practices.
Email and SMS Campaigns: Assist in implementing HTML code for SMS and email marketing campaigns, including some creative elements.
Email List Segmentation: Segment email lists based on user behavior and demographic data.
Email Analytics: Track email open rates, click-through rates (CTR), and conversions to optimize campaigns.
Workflows: Help manage workflows, utilizing webhooks to streamline marketing processes.
Marketing Audits: Perform weekly audits of organic marketing efforts and social media activity (time permitting).
Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of organic marketing efforts, offering recommendations for improvements.
Social Media Support: Assist HQ front office staff with social media initiatives to increase brand awareness.
Market Research: Conduct light market research and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis.
Website Updates: Support website content updates utilizing best practices using HTML, CSS, and/or front-end builders.
Website Audits: Conduct website audits/updates to ensure site functionality and a seamless user experience.
Email Campaigns: Assist in the creation and management of email marketing campaigns, including design and content creation.
Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies in digital marketing.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills: SEO, SEM, PPC, Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp), social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Yext), HTML, and CSS.
Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including email marketing, social media, and SEO.
Creative & Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
