This key position involves assisting with the comprehensive checking in and out of aircraft, along with handling important administrative responsibilities related to scheduled flight operations. Situated in our Dispatch office, this role serves as the nexus of our aviation operations, connecting flights, personnel, and customer service.
Core Responsibilities:
Safety Compliance Oversight:
Oversee and ensure compliance with all relevant safety protocols and regulations in flight operations, with a focus on maintaining the highest safety standards. This role includes taxiing aircraft securely between the Flight School and the Maintenance Facility per FAA and airport regulations.
Aircraft Inspection Coordination:
• Collaborate with maintenance crews to address any issues or discrepancies found during aircraft inspections in a timely manner.
• Apply your Aircraft Operations expertise to effectively prioritize maintenance concerns, differentiating urgent needs from those that can be addressed later.
Documentation Management:
• Maintain precise records of flight schedules, monitor student progression, and manage maintenance activities alongside other necessary documentation.
• Take charge of invoicing and ensuring timely processing of payments.
Customer Relationship Management:
• Function as the primary liaison for customer inquiries, adeptly resolving issues and offering assistance.
Training Support:
• Support the coordination of staff training sessions, ensuring ongoing professional development and adherence to regulatory requirements. Guide new employees and students to promote their seamless integration into our organization.
• Schedule students throughout their flight training while strategically navigating conflicting priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Engage with various departments, including flight instruction, maintenance, and administrative teams, to facilitate cohesive operational functions. Participate in strategic discussions to formulate improvements and tackle challenges effectively.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
• Identify potential areas for enhancing operational processes, boosting efficiency, and improving both flight operations and administrative tasks.
• Execute additional tasks as assigned to advance organizational goals and objectives.
