Great opportunity for a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer. This is a great opportunity for an individual with mechanical design experience who is looking to work for a leading manufacturer in San Diego.
In this position you will perform specific engineering assignments which may include preparation of preliminary design layouts and the performance of analyses utilizing established analytical methods and a variety of finite element codes. Work is under the direction of higher classified engineering personnel.
The ideal candidate will have:
A Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge of standard engineering principals, including mechanical drafting, turbomachinery design, computer programming, strength of materials, aerothermodynamics, heat transfer, etc.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with Gas Turbine Systems and their operation is a plus!
Experience with Creo Parametric and Windchill, or similar 3D software
Work performed may include preparing design layouts, making stress and
deflection calculations, writing computer programs, monitoring laboratory
tests, reducing test data and writing summary reports.
Pay Rate: $26/hour-$31.34/hour
