Responsibilities:

In support of the System Sustainment & Readiness Directorate, Marine Corps Systems Command, we are seeking an Acquisition Logistics Analyst III / Team Lead with experience in supporting DOD Federal acquisition programs; knowledge of policy/ principles/organizational protocols.

Experienced Logistics Analyst leads and directs integrated logistics support (ILS) planning to provide support to staff functions. Analyzes data and models using various software to determine such factors as allocation of resources, inventory placement and size, proper sustainment solutions in order to develop long-term weapon system supportability approaches that further acquisition strategy goals. Conducts logistics support analysis tasks and determines proper logistics support requirements for optimized solutions. Provides mentorship and guidance to logistics analysts.

The specific responsibilities and tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

• This position relies heavily on leadership, interpersonal management skills, data analysis, documentation development., and policy review.

• Manage acquisition logistics training support and oversee the development and revision of training products, delivery of training courses, and training coordination / administration.

• Assist government customers with the development / revision of acquisition / sustainment policy and make recommendations for optimal courses of action.

• Develop point papers, presentations, and reports regarding research, analyses, and acquisition/sustainment policy.

• Conduct research, compile data builds, and develop data/trend analyses using Government-specied acquisition logistics and sustainment products/data to support readiness and cost optimization.

• Manage development and revision of job aids to support Integrated Product Support Element (IPSE) products and training.

• Assist government customers with managing internal and assigned taskers.

• Provide system, training, policy, and process recommendations to improve eectiveness and eciency.

• Manage team administrative requirements in order to support Government customers.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years of professional experience, experience in a management position with analytical responsibilities required. Twelve (12) years’ experience can substitute for a degree.

• Demonstrated experience with acquisition logistics, resource allocation, deliverable tracking and reporting.

Specific/Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of Marine Corps acquisition processes required, specifically the Integrated Product Support Elements (IPSEs) and Supportability Analyses

• Familiarity with the following systems preferred: TFSMS, MDR, GCSS-MC, L-DART, TOPIC, EDA, and FLIS.

• Preferred familiarity with the DoD 5000 series, Marine Corps acquisition and sustainment policies and procedures.
