Pay Range

$39,500.00-$50,500.00 Annual

This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors.

We’re looking for a motivated intern to join our HR team and explore how machine learning or AI can improve our HR processes, specifically within Workday. This role will focus on leveraging cutting-edge HR technology to enhance our HR offerings. The ideal candidate will be system savvy, have strong critical thinking skills, and be curious about technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore Workday’s AI and machine learning features to understand how they work, the data they utilize, and their potential.
  • Evaluate the features in our test environment and see how well they work and what benefits they offer.
  • Share your findings and suggest how these features could benefit Johns Manville in areas such as compensation, hiring, and talent management.
  • Provide insights on using AI or Machine Learning suggestions as helpful tools, ensuring managers make the final decisions.
  • Collaborate with HR teams to understand their needs and how AI can support them.
  • Present your findings and recommendations with HR leadership clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

  • Currently studying Human Resources, HR Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in machine learning and AI and its use in HR.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
