Job Title:Behavioral Health Clinician-FloatDepartment:East | Talbot Hall Outpatient


POSITION SUMMARY
Clinical and education position, including, but not limited to:




  • This position works under the direct supervision of the Social Work Manager at Talbot Hall: educating and providing dual diagnosis treatment to patients.






  • Communicates and works closely with the multidisciplinary team.






  • Provides care management to patients on the inpatient units including preparation for aftercare, referring to other agencies and organizations.






  • Provide counseling/psychotherapy to individuals with substance use and mental health disorders to facilitate return to previous or improved functioning. Services provided include individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, and/or couple/family therapy.






  • Provide dual diagnosis education and treatment and ability to carry out curriculum with training.






  • Formulate individualized treatment plans to assist patients to determine and meet treatment goals.






  • Other duties include advocating within local community if needed; work as part of clinical team; maintain third-party payer relationships; and complete all necessary paperwork (e.g., disability, FMLA).






  • Cross training in utilization review for scheduled coverage needs






  • Cross training in IOP, PHP and Residential levels of care for coverage needs
