Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse I to join our healthcare team in Baltimore. As an entry-level clinical nurse, you will provide direct patient care while working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care and perform basic nursing procedures according to established protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to changes in patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care
- Assist in patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or eligible for licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy practices
- Basic life support skills
- Understanding of nursing protocols and medical terminology
- Clinical rotation or internship experience preferred
