Job Description:

The Housing Assistant will provide guest and administrative support to the housing team.  This support includes general office management, answering phones, clerical work (including maintaining records and entering data), or other tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions:


  • Greet and issue room keys and assign rooms to guests efficiently, warmly, and friendly

  • Ensure guest safety by following established security procedures, including fire/tornado procedures, fundamental security, and guest privacy

  • Record and communicate guest special requests and problems to the appropriate department and ensure they are addressed in a timely and acceptable manner

  • Answer inquiries about services, registration of guests, and local attractions and provide travel directions

  • Accurately check out guests and communicate departures with housekeeping staff

  • Accurately create and track maintenance issues

  • Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via telephone, computer, and in writing

  • Maintain the shift-to-shift log accurately to maintain proper communication between shifts

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the area

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:


  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and other commonly used business software and tools

  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues

  • Must Possess a positive, professional, and pleasant attitude

  • Must be able to read, speak, and write English  

  • Ability to prioritize projects and strong problem-solving skills 

  • Good research skills and attention to detail 

  • Possess the ability to learn specific company computer programs

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely matter

  • Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365

 Education and Experience:


  • H.S. diploma or equivalent

  • Two (2) years of (Customer Service) experience, preferred

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and be prepared to demonstrate their proficiency  

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Must pass a motor vehicle record check, as well as an employer and government background check (e-QIP or eAPP), after accepting a conditional offer of employment
