Job Description:

Position Overview (Summary/Objective):

The Logistics Analyst will be working in a stockroom, shipping and receiving environment, and will be responsible for managing product workflow and adhering to material processing best practice and procedures. They should be able to analyze data, provide pertinent feedback, manage and report on key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) as established by the management team.

The candidate will be working closely with material planning, quality control, and manufacturing personnel; they must provide exceptional customer service, ensuring on time delivery to internal customers, and high accuracy in material kitting.

This position is for a Logistics Analyst in Danbury, CT. We welcome applicants at varying experience levels.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of products, services and data entry.
• Daily Stockroom, Shipping, and Receiving functions to include material receipts, inventory management, kitting parts, and stock put away.
• Experience working with online systems to include UPS, Fed-Ex, WAWF, is a plus.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and planning for overhead inventory.
• Maintains accurate records of inventory levels, and logistics data in SAP
• Collaborates with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Report discrepancies or issues to the management team promptly.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes that meet business objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Associate's degree preferred
• 2 Years of Experience relevant to Logistics, Warehousing, SCM or Material Planning
• Experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management Preferred

• Exceptional customer service
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices and procedures a plus
