As a hands-on Principal Cybersecurity Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer you will be responsible for the architecture design, engineering, and operation of DLP systems. The role involves creating and managing policies to ensure compliant handling of sensitive information, analyzing and testing DLP policies and associated incidents, and tuning Data Loss Prevention policies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience administering Linux and Windows servers, integrating databases, and utilizing technologies such as Enterprise DLP platforms, Microsoft Security and Compliance, Microsoft Servers, and Linux Servers

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Engineers, deploys, configures, and deploys Cybersecurity DLP platforms on Windows and Linux environments
  • API Integration of DLP platforms with other security, data base, and workflow solutions via PowerShell, Python, PHP, BASH, JavaScript, KQL, and SQL
  • Performing hands-on DLP deployment, configuration, policy, and maintenance
  • Develops advanced reports to meet requirements of key stakeholders.
  • Develops automation for security tools management and workflow integration
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders within Information Security and Engineering teams to develop specific use cases to address specific business requirements
  • Aids in gathering, presenting metrics for measuring performance and risk
  • Provides ongoing support to existing monitoring capabilities and data collection systems
  • Leads troubleshooting efforts in complex issues involving multiple platforms


Qualifications:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity engineering with experience configuring, operating, and managing DLP / Insider Threat platforms
  • Engineering, administrative experience of Forcepoint, Microsoft Security and Compliance (Purview, Defender), UEBA, vulnerability scanning tools, or Insider Threat platforms.
  • Engineering, administrative experience of Windows Server and Linux platforms
  • Solid understanding of data protection, data privacy, regex
  • Expertise with mainstream operating systems and programming languages (KQL, Python, PHP, PowerShell, JavaScript, BASH)Expertise in Cybersecurity, Data Protection operations and processes
  • CISSP, CISM or advanced relevant industry certification preferred
  • Expert with reviewing and analyzing DLP policies and events
  • Requires Daily Office Presence (5 days a week) at one of the listed locations. No relocation assistance is provided.

Our Principal Cybersecurity, earns between $141,300.00-$211,900.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
