About the Client:
Our client is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis who will play a key leadership role across the organization's Finance Department. This role is highly visible and responsible for leading planning and providing broad decision support analysis to business leaders. Our Multi-Site Healthcare client is private equity backed and has over 100 locations. Their ideal candidate must have progressive Corporate FP&A experience within the Healthcare/Retail/Multi-Site industry and currently holds a Director title or similar.
Responsibilities:
Lead the annual budgeting process, long-term financial planning, and rolling forecasts across the organization.
Partner closely with senior leadership and multi-unit operational leaders to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement KPIs to measure and optimize operational and financial performance across healthcare locations.
Drive detailed financial analyses, including variance analysis, profitability modeling, and cost containment initiatives.
Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions, including growth strategies, resource allocation, and capital investments.
Collaborate with private equity partners, providing timely and accurate reporting, board presentations, and other key deliverables.
Oversee and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning.
Qualifications
MBA required; CPA or CFA preferred.
8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in multi-unit healthcare, multi-site operations, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
Private equity-backed company experience is required, including exposure to reporting, investor relations, and growth strategies.
Proven ability to partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis. Experience with FP&A tools and ERP systems (e.g., Adaptive Planning, NetSuite) is a plus.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring flexibility and results-oriented decision-making.
