An organization in Charleston is seeking an experienced and analytical candidate for a Senior Budget Analyst role. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial and/or budget analysis, government experience, and strong organization and investigation skills.
Responsibilities: • Monitor and Analyze, Capital Projects, Budget, and Operations • Collect and analyze data on different processes and compile for reporting • Create financial reports to aid in the budget process • Assist with developing annual budget • Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting • Develop ERP system and seek opportunities for improvement • Assist in developing financial models
Qualifications: • Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or related field or relevant experience • Minimum 4 years of experience in utilities or government administration • Experience utilizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP system • Knowledge of project and cost accounting • Ability to work well with a team
Compensation and Benefits: • $75,000 - $100,000/yr based on experience and qualifications • Medical, Dental, Vision • Retirement • PTO
