Provides personalized banking services to financial institution clients by performing the following duties. This position requires strong knowledge of Banking Operations and is expected to provide leadership, training, and support to staff members. Must have an extensive understanding of banking products and services and supports the Branch Manager in promoting Branch growth.
Operational Leadership:
Schedule and manage branch staff to ensure excellent customer service and operational coverage.
Maintain and review operational standards, documentation, and adherence to bank policies.
Oversee branch security, cash limits, and compliance with security protocols.
Handle daily operational reports, file maintenance, and exception approvals within established limits.
Perform teller duties, open new accounts, and review new account openings for accuracy and compliance.
Customer Service:
Provide personalized banking solutions and resolve escalated client concerns with creativity and diplomacy.
Assist in customer retention and offer appropriate financial products based on client needs.
Team Development:
Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to staff, fostering professional development.
Assist the Branch Manager in performance evaluations, goal setting, and addressing performance matters.
Recognize staff achievements and encourage a collaborative, positive workplace culture.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of banking experience, with 2 years in operations and 2 years in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking applications.
Strong knowledge of banking products, services, and operational processes.
Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
Notary Public certification preferred but not required.
