Summary: The Marketing and Member Relations Coordinator will directly contribute to the organization's business success through the participation and coordination of multiple marketing communications initiatives, member outreach and correspondence, and database management. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing and offers the opportunity to grow within the organization for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Research relevant industry news, awards, events and member content.
Assist with writing feature content emails, press releases, social media and member and promotional campaign materials as needed.
Assist with social media planning, posting of relevant content and analytics tracking/reporting.
Support the organization's members through direct communications on inquiries, requests and updating of digital platform information.
Conduct member research, reviews and provide analysis/reports on status and areas for optimization.
Update and the organization's proprietary database and provide tracking and analysis.
Conduct on-going competitor and industry research with the ability to interpret, summarize and report.
Assist with the organization's events coordination and execution as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to research and analyze information, draft concise communications, and provide ideas and solutions. Ability to prioritize and respond effectively inquiries.
Project Management Skills: Ability to independently prioritize, organize, coordinate and complete projects, meeting deadlines and communicate status on an on-going basis.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively; interact well with high level executives and audiences; foster relationships leading to continued and increasing support of the organization. Excellent customer service and follow-up skills. Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
Technical/equipment Skills: Proficient in Windows computing environments; data input environments; Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experience in email and internet search engines, research techniques, and website content support.

Bachelor's degree
3-5 years of corporate/business services marketing and communications experience
Research and database management experience
Strong project coordination and execution ability
International personal or business experience and/or background a plus
