Role Overview:
As the Learning & Development Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our global workforce of 250+ employees across four countries and six offices. Reporting directly to the VP, Internal Talent, you will be responsible for scaling and enhancing our onboarding, learning and development, and talent management programs. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute creatively to the growth of our talent internally and ensure that our team thrives in an innovative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding
Revamp and scale the existing onboarding program, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires and accelerating their integration into our culture and team.
Facilitate onboarding sessions and provide ongoing support to new hires during their first 90 days.
Ensure consistency in functional onboarding across teams by providing best practices.
Learning & Development
Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of learning and development initiatives, including:
Conducting comprehensive learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.
Organizing company-wide and team-level learning opportunities.
Creating tiered leadership development programs for new managers through senior leaders.
Partnering with investors to develop internal emerging investor training programs.
Collaborate with the Employee Engagement, Communications & DEI Manager to integrate DEI-related learning opportunities.
Manage external relationships with vendors, consultants, and coaches to support learning initiatives.
Evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of learning programs, contributing to the L&D roadmap.
Oversee all logistics and administration for learning programs.
Performance Management
Manage mid-year and year-end performance management processes, including creating resources, guidance, and administering the performance management system (Culture Amp).
Contribute to the development of the performance management roadmap, introducing new capabilities such as goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
Stay up-to-date on talent trends and best practices to enhance learning and talent management solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications.
6-8+ years of progressive experience in learning and development, preferably within a global organization; performance management experience is a plus.
Digital/e-learning development skills are a plus.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presentation and facilitation.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and organizational levels.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with high standards of excellence and a proactive approach to work.
Strong intellect, creativity, and curiosity, with the ability to think innovatively.
Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and make informed decisions.
Compensation: $200k Base + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Hybrid schedule - 3/4x onsite weekly in SF office and occasional travel to other locations
