Our client, a wellness brand, is hiring an Orientation Specialist to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office). This is a temporary position that will begin in late immediately and continue for approximately 3 months. This position's goal is to deliver an exceptional first-day experience for new hires, embodying the company's spirit. This individual will serve as a brand ambassador, fostering excitement and connection to the company's values while facilitating seamless orientation sessions. The ideal candidate is an energetic and personable team player who should bring a passion for company's brand and culture.
Job Duties Include:
Serve as the first point of contact for new hires, creating a warm, engaging, and welcoming environment.
Facilitate orientation sessions for groups new hires.
Act as a bridge between stakeholders across the company to ensure all aspects of the onboarding process are seamless and aligned with company values.
Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with diverse teams, embodying company's culture and values.
Manage logistics and program coordination for new hire orientation, prioritizing attention to detail and delivering an exceptional experience.
Innovate and enhance the orientation experience, leveraging tools like Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom to drive efficiency and engagement.
Job Qualifications Include:
1+ years of relevant experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack, and Zoom preferred
Background in connected fitness, lifestyle brands, wellness, beauty, retail sales, or tech is a plus
Prior experience in orientation, onboarding, or similar roles is a bonus but not required.
Salary: $29 - $32.50/hr depending on experience
