Sr. People Specialist
Our lean HR team is seeking a versatile, detail-oriented team player, eager to offer broad HR support for our organization. Sr. People Specialist will be providing an exceptional employee experience, assisting with people-related processes, policies, and programs. This role involves working closely with employees and management to ensure seamless HR operations, support organizational culture initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of the company's people strategy.
Essential Responsibilities:
Employee Lifecycle Support
Manage and coordinate employee onboarding and separation processes.
Initiate and optimize new hires' orientation and help them integrate into their roles and the company culture.
Employee Engagement and Experience
Design and implement programs and events that enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
Address employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Conduct surveys and analyze feedback to understand and improve employee satisfaction.
HR Operations and Compliance
Work with Sr. ER Specialist and legal team to support employee relations investigations to ensure a fair, respectful, and compliant workplace.
Document employee relations-related information and help with summarizing reports.
Conduct performance improvement plans.
Collaborate with managers on a performance improvement program.
Analytics and Reporting
Generate HR metrics and reports, such as ESG reports and engagement survey results, to provide insights into workforce trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in HR or people operations.
Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) and basic knowledge of labor laws.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of empathy and discretion.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
This role requires someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to creating a supportive and efficient environment for employees. A successful People Specialist combines administrative expertise with people skills to foster a positive workplace culture and help employees thrive.
Proficient in MS Office (excellent in Excel).
Experience with internal marketing, such as poster design, photo, and video editing.
