The position requires you to be on-site full-time MON - FRIDAY in Livonia, MI
Primary Function:
This University Relations Specialist will be responsible for running and managing all aspects of the internship program. This includes screening and hiring of interns, oversight of communication with incoming interns, structuring the internship program and managing presentations and events.

Primary Responsibilities:
Manage internship openings and recruitment for them
Participate in career fairs and campus events
Partner with our leaders on the intern selection and hiring process
Maintain communication with incoming interns
Onboard interns and work with their leaders and our L&D team to ensure intern onboarding and training schedules are in place
Work with department leaders to identify one or more projects for the interns to complete during their internship
Schedule and oversee intern activities including presentations, events, intern outings and round table meetings
Off-board interns at the end of the intern season, which includes ensuring all interns have a "next step" conversation about returning the following year as an intern or a full-time employee
Administer Intern Program surveys, and then analyze, collate, and present survey feedback to leaders to ensure a continuous improvement cycle. Establish relationships and operate as a University and College liaison
Educational/Background Requirements:
Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources or related field
Previous Human Resource and/or Recruitment experience preferred
Previous experience in a University Relations role or exposure to a internship program highly preferred
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Adaptable, keen attention to detail, time management, assertive, patient, calm under pressure
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience with an ATS or HRIS system is preferred, not required
Working Conditions:
Typical office environment.
May periodically travel to college campuses for events and career fairs (less than 10% travel)
